Part7: Bukidnon-CDO-Iligan-Camiguin Trip Day2 - Timoga Spring Pools in Iligan

Around 3:30-4pm, we decided to finish our Tinago Falls adventure and proceed to Timoga Spring Pools. Again, we texted our habal-habal/motorycle driver to pick us up and in just a few minutes, viola! He's there! Upon reaching the Timoga Spring Pools, we paid Kuya Jun around Php300.00 for our ride for two but I think you'll save a lot if you take jeepneys and just take habal-habal ride to Tinago and Mimbalut Falls (see my previous post for transportation details: http://adventurousfeet.blogspot.com/2011/01/part5-bukidnon-cdo-iligan-camiguin-trip.html).

Timoga Spring Pools

Numerous spring pools can be found here.  You'll actually ask what's the difference from the normal swimming pools you see. It's so natural! Water from the pools here came from spring mountain, it's like that the water is freezing cold much like from a normal falls.

We visited first the Timoga Spring Pool but we ended up enjoying Mimar's Timoga Spring Pool.  We had a spot here that we really enjoyed a lot, the pictures speak themselves hehehe.  I'm not sure if other pools has this kind of cascading falls part but for us who are indeed nature lovers, we love it!

Going Back to CDO

At 5pm, we prepared ourselves to finish our Iligan trip. Just at Timoga Spring Pools, we were waiting for a bus heading to Cagayan De Oro. Unfortunately, no bus going to CDO stopped to pick us up.  Luckily, the owner of the lechon house where we ate earlier crossed the highway towards us and told us that buses do not usually stop by to pick passengers.  It's actually a respect because there's a terminal few kilometers away from where we were.  She suggested to take a jeep ride (the signage is still 'Buru-un'), and we should tell the jeep driver to drop us at 'Bus Terminal in highway'. It's an Iligan Bus Terminal not only to CDO, but also to other provinces as well.  I so love Iligan people.  It's really getting darked already but no one harmed us and we safely got back to CDO terminal. There's still jeepneys or taxis available at CDO Bus Terminal, so no worries at all.

Been here for a couple of times, still it makes me feel cold though its summer and the sun really strikes hot :)) . Where is this Mimar's Spring located at? Is it near at Timoga Swimming pool? I like the small falls, it gives great captures.
